China Mobile has built more than 410,000 5G base stations

According to news on April 25, Dong Xin, general manager of China Mobile, said in a speech at the 4th Digital China Construction Summit that China Mobile has built more than 410,000 5G base stations, accounting for more than half of the country.

Dong Xin predicts that in the next five years, my country's direct and driven investment in new digital infrastructure will exceed 15 trillion yuan, of which 5G will exceed 7.5 trillion yuan, and big data centers will exceed 5 trillion yuan.

In addition, he also said that China Mobile looks forward to working with all walks of life in the industry to accelerate the development of 5G construction, improve the layout of data center construction, and create a high-speed ubiquitous, integrated cloud-network, intelligent and open, green and safe infrastructure base.

Since the issuance of 5G licenses and the promotion of new infrastructure and other related policies, operators have gradually accelerated their pace in 5G construction. According to data, in 2020, China Mobile will build approximately 340,000 5G base stations and open a total of 390,000 5G base stations.
