Nokia Wins 5G Network Contract In 3 European Countries

Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia recently stated that it has won 5G network orders from A1 Telekom Austria Group (A1) for operations in Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia.

On August 25 news, Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia recently stated that it has won 5G network orders from A1 Telekom Austria Austria Group (A1) for operations in Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia.


Nokia said: "This agreement will enable Nokia to provide its comprehensive AirScale product portfolio with 5G RAN solutions to all three markets and provide 5G independent core networks to Serbia and Slovenia."

Data show that as of April 2021, Nokia has 160 commercial 5G transactions, more than 220 commercial 5G agreements and 63 live broadcast networks. This includes 84 5G contracts with service providers: 13 in the Americas, 38 in Europe, 24 in the Asia-Pacific region, and 9 in Africa.
