Ruijie Network released the Wi-Fi 7 product matrix, leading a new era of wireless network

This year, the IEEE officially announced the freezing of Wi-Fi 7 technology standards, marking a historic milestone that marks a new stage of productization and commercialization of Wi-Fi 7 technology. Driven by the continuous upgrading of technology and the increasing speed of wireless networks in high-density scenarios, Ruijie Network has recently released a series of innovative product matrices based on Wi-Fi 7 technology, including: ultra-high-density AP RG-AP9520-RDX, dedicated AP RG-AP690D-A for outdoor scenes, and minimalist optical panel AP RG-MAP920-SF-M. This move not only highlights the outstanding position of Ruijie Network in the field of wireless network technology, but also indicates that wireless network technology will enter a new era.

Scenario-driven acceleration of Wi-Fi 7 technology upgrades

"Although the domestic 6G frequency band has not yet been opened to Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 7 can play a role in high-density scenarios such as wireless offices and venues, as well as production scenarios that require uninterrupted wireless transmission." Chi Changgui, wireless product manager of Ruijie Network, said that the upgrade of Wi-Fi 7 is not accidental, but the inevitable result of market demand and technological development.

For example, in high-density scenarios such as wireless office, education, and gymnasiums, dense AP deployment can easily cause interference, affecting user experience and overall network performance. When there is a surge in users, endpoints compete for AP resources, resulting in a sharp drop in performance. At the same time, the industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing put forward strict requirements for low latency and high capacity of wireless transmission. In addition, cutting-edge applications such as telemedicine, smart education, 8K video streaming, extended reality (XR) and the metaverse are setting higher standards for wireless network speed, latency and capacity.

Compared with Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7 achieves a double leap in speed and capacity, significantly reduces latency, enhances reliability, channel resource utilization, and anti-interference capabilities, and reaches a maximum theoretical rate of 23 Gbit/s, effectively addressing the challenges of the above multiple scenarios.

After in-depth analysis of the requirements of multiple scenarios such as high-density access to wireless office, dense crowd flow in venues, harsh conditions in outdoor environments, and cabling restrictions in small spaces, Ruijie Network has carefully created a series of Wi-Fi 7 products.

Ruijie released the Wi-Fi 7 product matrix, which fully covers the needs of multiple scenarios

Ruijie Network is well versed in the diverse needs of the market, adheres to the concept of scenario-based innovation, carefully creates a variety of Wi-Fi 7 products, directly addresses practical application challenges with technological innovation, and is committed to bringing users a stable, efficient, and reliable wireless network experience.

Flagship-level products, supported by smart antennas, can flexibly meet the needs of all scenarios

In 2024, Ruijie will launch the flagship high-density wireless access point RG-AP9861-R, which adopts a four-radio and 14 spatial stream design, with a maximum access rate of up to 12.906Gbps.

Ruijie Network has made great efforts in the antenna design of RG-AP9861-R, and the whole machine adopts an integrated high-density (multi-port) built-in antenna, which minimizes feeder loss and improves sensitivity while improving service carrying capacity. Among them, 8 high-performance smart antennas, each of which can provide 5 states and can combine 390,000 coverage methods, are controlled by a powerful programmable logic device (CPLD) as the brain of the smart antenna algorithm, dynamically adjusting according to the environment, achieving high-density coverage and long-distance transmission, and improving the user experience. Secondly, 8 rectangular antennas support H-pol and V-pol dual polarization, which enhances isolation and throughput performance. 2 Bluetooth antennas and 1 GPS antenna further extend the versatility of the device.

It is worth mentioning that the current wireless 6GHz frequency band has not been opened in China, but RG-AP9861-R has forward-looking layout of the 6GHz frequency band, so that it can not only meet the needs of the current international market 6GHz frequency band, but also adapt to the future technology development needs of China.

Equipped with multi-level shaped antennas, ultra-high density AP is innovative

Ruijie Network has always adhered to the scenario-based innovation route, Ruijie Network knows that industry applications must fit the entire environment, and based on different scenarios, Ruijie Network provides different solutions. According to Chi Changgui, Ruijie Network has developed and launched different forms of Wi-Fi 7 products for room, education, office, and public scenarios.

For example, the RG-AP9520-RDX is equipped with an external antenna and a built-in smart antenna. The external antenna can support RG-AP9520-RDX deployment in ceiling deployment scenarios of venues, venues, and waiting for buses/planes with a height of more than 10 meters, forming cellular deployment, reducing interference between APs and improving the performance of the entire network. The built-in antenna adopts a multi-level shaped antenna, which can automatically adjust the angle to cope with the use of different densities and heights based on the terminal density of the AP load, the height of the physical space, the deployment spacing of the AP, and the deployment mode of the AP, ensuring that it can provide a stable wireless connection when the crowd is dense in the venue, lecture hall, and office area.

In addition to the installation equipment introduced above, the RG-AP690D-A is designed for outdoor scenes, meets the protection level of IP68, can withstand various weather conditions, and provides strong wireless coverage, suitable for outdoor environments such as campuses and campuses. The RG-MAP920-SF-M is a Wi-Fi 7 minimalist optical panel suitable for dormitories and small office scenarios, providing 2+2 dual-band configuration and 4 Ethernet ports to meet the needs of wired and wireless integrated networks in small spaces.

Ruijie Network's Wi-Fi 7 products are not only technical upgrades, but also to solve practical problems and meet the needs of specific scenarios. Whether it is the stable coverage of high-density venues, or the durability requirements of outdoor environments, or the need to save cabling in a small space, Ruijie Network has corresponding products to meet.
