He also said that the company is focusing on strengthening network construction. Insist on "promoting use by construction, and promoting construction by use", and further promote network co-construction and sharing. Through co-construction and sharing, the progress doubled, coverage doubled, bandwidth doubled, and speed doubled.

In the 5G frequency band allocated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Telecom received the intermediate frequency 3.5GHz frequency band (3400MHz-3500MHz), and China Unicom received the 3500MHz-3600MHz frequency band, both of which are n78 frequency bands and continuous, so the two decided to jointly build a 5G network.

Li Zheng Mao, general manager of China Telecom, previously stated that as of the end of July this year, China Telecom and China Unicom's 5G shared base stations have achieved basic continuous coverage of outdoor 5G signals in urban areas and developed counties above the prefecture level across the country, as well as key coverage in general counties and towns. . He predicts that by the end of this year, the scale of 5G shared base stations will exceed 700,000.
