1. Did not purchase a 5G mobile phone. Although most of the newly released mobile phones can support 5G networks, there are still a large number of users using mobile phones two years ago, and these mobile phones do not support 5G networks, so that users of these mobile phones do not need to upgrade 5G packages.

2. The 5G package is too expensive. Currently, the three major mainstream operators in China have launched their own 5G packages. Although upgrading to a 5G package does not require changing the number or changing the physical card, the high monthly fee of one hundred yuan still scares off many users who intend to upgrade to 5G.

3. Incomplete 5G coverage. Although the three major operators are accelerating the construction of 5G signal towers, there are still many areas where 5G signals are very weak or even absent. In this case, the 4G signal that has been built for many years is much more stable than 5G.

4. 5G applications are immature. For the current mobile terminal, there is no application that can fully utilize the 5G network speed. Most 4G networks can do what 5G networks can do, which makes users even less motivated to upgrade.

5. In addition to the above reasons, there are some other reasons. For example, 5G network consumes more power than 4G, and 5G network makes mobile phones generate more heat, and so on.

In general, although there are still some users who have not upgraded to 5G networks, with the maturity of 5G technology, the construction of signal towers and the drop in package tariffs, it is believed that more and more users will upgrade to 5G networks.
